This artwork is meant to commemorate the day when a specific sign needed to be dismantled. There are many videos of crabs snatching knives from humans and flailing them about on internet. Maf combined these elements to add a touch of humor to the piece.

Giant Animal Series originated from a humorous expression made by a friend's pet cat. Maf imagined how it would be amusing if oversized animals appeared in the Hong Kong environment, and this inspired her to start a creative series. Drawing from her understanding of animal characteristics and their relationship to specific locations, along with her imagination, the changing seasons, and current events, she began creating works that explore the coexistence of humans and animals. Through these works, she quietly captures and records the changes of Hong Kong in her own unique way.
